Please telephone to book and make general enquiries, and please do so during our office hours of 8.30 am to 7.30 pm.
The nature of running a caravan park means we rarely sit at a computer screen and so emails are only suitable for non urgent and general enquiries.
Our pitches are of slightly different sizes and groupings, so by discussing your needs over the phone we can offer the best solution. For example, you may wish to be near the children's play trial, or, indeed not too close! Some pitches are suitable for caravans, some for tents, and some where caravans can be sited next to tents, to suit the people involved. All pitches are bookable, but, although we will do our best, we cannot guarantee a particular location.
We can take a deposit, or full payment, on a credit/debit card over the phone.

Advance booking
Telephone bookings can be paid by credit card or must be confirmed in writing together with the deposit within 7 days. Cheques are accepted only if received three weeks before arrival. Deposits are non refundable, unless you are able to give us sufficient notice that we can relet the pitch.
Outstanding balance
This is due on arrival either by cash, or credit/debit card. (Not Amex or Diners)
Your pitch
This is available from noon on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 11.00 am on the day of departure. (A 'weekend special' booking enables you to stay until 6 pm.) If you require to arrive early or leave late, this may be possible by prior arrangement.
Please notify us if you intend to arrive after 7.00 pm so we can make arrangements to let you in through the security barrier. We will do our best, but cannot guarantee reservation on any particular pitch.
Tents and large trailer tents
Please advise us when booking of the size so we can put you on an appropriate pitch.
Ground sheets
We prefer you to use breathable groundsheets on grass. If not, and if staying more than 4 days, we may ask you to re-pitch so the grass remains attractive.
Visitors
Adult daytime visitors must report to reception and sign in. there is a charge of £ 1 per day.
Dogs
We can no longer admit large dogs, eg. Alsation / Akita size, or breeds that may cause concern by reputation. Please do not allow your dogs to foul the park. We have a dog walk and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. We reserve the right to limit the total number of dogs on the park and have a registration scheme on arrival. Anyone not abiding by these rules may be asked to leave without refund.
Ball games and playground
Ball games must not be played near caravans or tents nor in such a way as to annoy others. When we are not busy the field can be used for ball games. The play ground closes at 9 pm. Children must be supervised at all times.
Liability
All vehicles, caravans, trailertents and tents and their contents are permitted to enter the park at their own risk. The proprietors will accept no responsibility for theft, damage or injury whilst on the park, however caused.
The etiquette of caravanning and camping
Code of conduct – the etiquette of caravanning and camping.
We set out to provide at Orchard Park a quiet place to relax in the countryside, somewhere away from the reminders of urban living. To do so we ask you to follow the guidelines: regrettably if you do not we may have to ask you to leave.
Please drive slowly at all times; children may be playing and adults day-dreaming.
Noise carries through canvas and open windows. Please keep music and conversation reduced, particularly after 10 p.m. We do not lock the barrier but would ask you to be particularly quiet if you have to return after 11 p.m. You may care to park overnight in the car park.
Children should be supervised at all times. They must not be allowed to play in the wash-block facilities, nor interfere with any Park equipment, or to cycle fast on the Park roads. Games involving throwing balls/ frisbees etc must not be played near caravans and tents, nor in such a way as to annoy others. When we are not busy the field can be used for games. The play area is not to be used after 9 p.m. Trees are not to be climbed.
Please do not use external washing lines. A window rack is acceptable, but both spin and tumble dryers are available in the laundry room.
Dogs must be registered at reception, kept on tethered or held leads at all times, and must not be allowed to annoy others with uncontrolled barking. Cats should not be allowed to roam free. We do not allow any other animals to be brought onto the Park. Ensure that your pet only relieves itself on the 'dog walk' and that you clean up after your pet. A disposal bin is provided next to the 'dog walk'. Pets must not be left unattended at any time.
Small windbreaks may be used, but do not fence off areas of the Park.
Generators may not be used. Electricity connections are widely available.
If you use an electric pump to inflate your airbed, please do so early in the evening, before the buzz of the motor becomes annoying to others relaxing.
Barbecues must be kept sufficiently raised above the ground to prevent scorching the grass. Bricks are available near the taps.
Only 'breathable' groundsheets may be used, or if unavoidable for example a pup tent with a sewn-in ground sheet, then the tent must be moved every four days.

Dogs are welcome, but…
Orchard Park is a family site.
Dogs are a much loved part of many families.
Please help us to continue to allow dogs at Orchard Park.
We have three basic rules.
The first two are about health and safety:
1. Children play around the site and dog mess is a hazard to children.
- We have provided a dog walk. Please use this. There is a bin there.
- If your dog makes a mess then you must clear it up and put the bag in the bin.
Keeping your dog on a lead at all times will ensure they do not make a mess on site, and do not frighten children playing.
2. Please do not leave your dog in your caravan or tent when you leave the site.
We have no way of knowing if you have just popped out or have gone for the day. All we know is that an animal is shut in and our concern is for the welfare of that animal. We have been told by the RSPCA to inform them if we are unhappy with any animal shut in a tent or caravan.
3. This is about being a considerate owner.
- Does your dog bark during the night?
- Does your dog bark every time someone passes your pitch?
Yes!
- Then this will disturb other users of the site and can frighten children.
- It is best if you choose another site.
- Then you are most welcome to stay on our site and enjoy the family atmosphere of Orchard Park.
Unfortunately, if our Dog Warden sees that you have not followed our simple rules, then you will be asked to leave the site.
To fairly ensure that the rules are explained to all dog owners, we ask for dog registration on arrival at reception. The charge for registration is £ 5, valid for the life of the dog for multiple visits to Orchard Park.
